| Nov. 5, 2008--Today I received a copy of
Oct.26, 2008 edition of the
Charlottesville Beacon. Two items are noteworthy; first is the lead
article "It's
Terrible to Grow Old" by Gene Taylor, and the second is Bill Hall's "Restudying
the Issues of the 50s and 60s." I recommend them both to your
consideration. Some members have relocated, and many others are now meeting with the Newton congregation. Sept. 4, 2007--This past summer was again a busy one, and now that school has started again, time will be at a premium. This evening, as I was sorting the e-mail that shows up in my mailbox, Larry Rouse had sent me a weekly bulletin of the North Charlottesville (Va.) church--I recommend that you go to www.cvillechurch.com and bookmark their web site (and check it on a regular basis). Dec. 6, 2002--When I first began this site, my ISP was Coastal Net (in New Bern, NC). Earlier this year, Volaris bought Coastal Net, and in June, they moved their tech support to Florida. Last month, Earth Link bought Volaris, and I don't know how to contact their tech support (so I'm trying to move this site to my present ISP, which is Road Runner/Time Warner), so if things don't work the way they should, they will soon--thanks for your patience).
