About Us

I started working on this site in June of 1999, working primarily on the links to where the material will eventually reside; I revised this site to its current condition in December 2000, and ever since then, it has been a challenge to keep this web site up to date.

I used to publish a journal named The Visiting Preacher in the late 1980s and early 1990s. It's logo appears on this site's home page. During 1996-1998, I helped Jim Miller publish his journal, The Keys of the Kingdom. Since then, Jim has moved from Mount Airy, NC to Presque Island, Maine. I lost track for Jim and his daughters in 2004.

In addition to helping with the local work here in Newport, NC, I used to make tents at East Carolina University by teaching various writing courses.

In the coming months, I hope to digitize my files and put them online. As time and opportunity permit, I'll post some of my sermon outlines (I'm still figuring out the best way to list them).

And, wouldn't you know it, just when I was getting comfortable with Front Page 2003, Microsoft decided to discontinue it, so I'm trying to teach myself Dreamweaver (to incorporate the latest online stuff on this site.
